Pakistan Innovation Challenge will prepare our Children for the Innovation Economy. Through PolyUp EdTech platform K12 students will learn Computational Thinking, Systems Thinking, Design Thinking, Leadership, Collaboration & Communication skills. Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) has sponsored 10M PolyCoins for DCO member states including Pakistan. Pakistan’s leading K12 educational institutes from across the country are invited to join Pakistan Innovation Challenge. Pakistan Innovation Challenge aims to Support 1 Million Pakistani K12 students in Learning Digital Skills By 2022.

H.E. Ms Deemah Alyahya, Secretary General, DCO, during her visit to Pakistan launched K12 Pakistan Innovation Challenge at, Prime Minister Office. The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) brings together nations, business, civil society, academics, and R&D institutions to promote social prosperity. Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) was established in 2020 by seven member states to drive greater collaboration and cooperation across entrepreneurship, innovation, business growth and employment in a shared digital economy. Member States include Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Nigeria & Pakistan.

Strategic partners for K12 Pakistan Innovation Challenge are Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA), and Ministry for Information Technology and Telecommunications.

“Our mission is to Develop the national innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem through setting up world-class technology destinations (STZs) across Pakistan. We aim to Transform Pakistan’s human capital into high-end future workforce” Mr. Amer Hashmi, Chairman Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA).

PolyUp is a web-based collaborative playground for K12 students to build 3D simulations of innovative solutions connecting curricular math to CS, robotics, AI, and entrepreneurship and prepare them for the innovation economy. PolyUp has started from the work at the youcubed center for Math Education at Stanford. PolyUp and its partners run seasonal National Challenges in the US as well as 11 other countries. Annual National Challenges instill the love of learning in K12 students by taking them through a journey to “Learn,” “Create,” and “Innovate.” K12 students can participate in the National Challenges as home activities, afterschool programs, or in part started as practice activities in the math classrooms.
